Wavin Italia obtains Gender Equality Certification

Wavin Italia proudly announces that it has obtained the Gender Equality Certification , in compliance with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 practice, a recognition that goes far beyond formal value.

This achievement reflects the daily commitment of all staff to building an inclusive and respectful work environment , where equity, talent development and growth opportunities are guaranteed to everyone, regardless of gender.

The certification was achieved thanks to a structured Management System, aimed at ensuring:

• Equal growth opportunities and training programs geared toward female empowerment
• Pay equity and transparency in economic decisions
• Zero-tolerance policies against abuse and harassment
• Work flexibility , parenting support, and work-life balance

The process was coordinated by a Steering Committee composed of four key members of the company:

• Marco Basilico, Director BU Western Europe – Sales Italy
• Beatrice Bissi, Marketing & Communication Manager of Wavin Italia
• Marco Gavagna, Plant Manager of Wavin Italy
