Wavin Italia improves air quality in a school in Polesine with the Ventiza EDU VMC.
Ensuring adequate air quality in school environments is an increasingly recognized priority today.
This is the context in which Wavin Italia completed the project for a school in the Polesine area, which recently underwent extraordinary maintenance, seismic upgrades, and energy efficiency improvements.
Seventeen Ventiza EDU Controlled Mechanical Ventilation units have been installed in the building, one for each classroom, with the aim of ensuring continuous and controlled air exchange without the need to open windows, thus reducing heat loss and energy consumption.
The choice of the Ventiza EDU solution was guided by the typical needs of school buildings:
- compact size (1,030 × 1,355 × 355 mm),
- ceiling installation,
- low noise emission,
- application flexibility.
The units are designed to integrate easily into teaching environments, ensuring acoustic comfort and continuity of classroom activities.
From a technical point of view, the machines are equipped with a high-efficiency counter-current heat exchanger, centrifugal fans with brushless EC motors, automatic by-pass for free cooling and high-efficiency filtration systems , capable of significantly improving the quality of the air introduced into school environments.
The project represents a concrete example of how CMV can contribute to creating healthier and more comfortable environments in schools, supporting the well-being of students and teachers and responding to the growing needs for energy efficiency and indoor quality.
A project that confirms the role of controlled mechanical ventilation as a key element in new-generation school buildings.
