The Bisol PV modules meet the energy needs of the sailing boat Heron

The sailing boat Heron left Adriatic shores in Koper last June with a Slovenian couple, Mr and Mrs Pelko.

Before departing their country they considered how to produce electricity without polluting the environment. At the end of their consideration, they opted for the Bisol PV modules thanks to their high efficiency, light weight, strictly positive tolerances, suitable dimensions, quality and price.

After more than a year of sailing the owner are very happy with the solar power plant’s yield. During this period they started the diesel engine only a couple of times to produce electricity due to bad weather conditions and a larger crew.

Mr and Mrs Pelko explain than the judicious use of the green energy produced is sufficient for powering two refrigerators, producing fresh water through desalination and for operating the autopilot, radar and other nautical instruments.
