Description


OMNIA represents a new method of program creation in the field of industrial heat exchange. It is different to other Unilab products, in that it is a “host program”  whose content, or calculation applications, can be selected by the end user according to their requirements. The individual calculation applications are called “OMNIApp” and can be easily downloaded from Internet, as they occupy only a few KB of memory. Once installed, the OMNIApp integrate perfectly into the OMNIA environment, so that it is possible to compile an order composed of different kinds of exchangers calculated by different OMNIApps.

OMNIA is aimed at all companies that manufacture machinery (exchangers or systems) which do not fit the most common standard software. UNILAB has opted for OMNIA the modular cost structure, consisting of a fixed one-off charge (for the single OMNIA licence) and the variable cost of the individual applications (OMNIApp).

Several OMNIApps are already available:
- for batch functioning equipment (BMCTank, PILLOW, and REIND)
- for continuous use machines like PCoil.

OMNIA is therefore a program which can be used for the calculation of any type of heat exchange equipment, whether already created or developed according to client specifications.

OMNIA: the unified tool for many applications

OMNIA is a "one box software" that Unilab offers to customers who need to design several types of heat exchangers with just one tool. Thanks to the modular OMNIA platform all users who have purchased one or more OmniApp may  handle different projects directly within the same offer.

At the moment, the following OmniApps are available:

- BmcTank for pillow plates used in the food processing,
- PCoil for pillow plates used as recuperators,
- Pillow for pillow plate heat exchangers used for batch processing,
- ReInd for indirect electrical  heaters.
- HEATE PIPE for type of heat exchangers.
