Aermec FCY and FCYI: the plug & play solution for flexible and efficient ducted air conditioning

The new FCY and FCYI ducted fan coil units from Aermec represent a complete and versatile proposal for the efficient air conditioning of small and medium-sized civil and commercial spaces.
Designed for horizontal built-in installation in 2 or 4-pipe systems, these systems stand out for their plug & play configuration, wide flexibility of use and simplified maintenance thanks to the new front inspection grille.

The FCYI version, equipped with a high-efficiency Brushless motor, has obtained the prestigious MCE Excellence Awards 2024, confirming itself as a solution in line with the objectives of energy transition and environmental sustainability.

Maximum configurability for tailor-made air conditioning

The FCY and FCYI fan coil units offer numerous customization options based on system requirements:

• standard or increased battery
• secondary battery
• Configurable hydraulic connections
• Customizable external condensate collection basin

The units are available in two versions:

Compact (C): opposite suction and delivery (H-configuration)

Universal (U): suction and delivery on the same side, ideal for simplifying integration with illuminated false ceilings and for avoiding inspection hatches.

The U version in sizes 2 and 3 introduces the new GKY grille, easily removable from the front: a practical advantage that simplifies maintenance and improves accessibility without compromising the design of the rooms.

Silent technology and healthier air with the photocatalytic device

Aermec fan coils also stand out for the technological solutions adopted:

• centrifugal fans with wing profile , made of antistatic plastic material, for high performance with very low noise and reduced consumption
• reduced thickness (236 mm) , to facilitate installation in small false ceilings
• Integrated plenums and external collectors optimized to minimize losses and maximize efficiency

From the point of view of air quality, FCY and FCYI include a 25% Coarse Class filter and can be equipped with a latest-generation photocatalytic device, which ensures an effective sanitizing action against viruses, VOCs and bacteria.
Thanks to the advanced Aermec AerSuite control system, it is also possible to remotely manage all the functions of the units, even from a smartphone or tablet.

The two series cover a wide range of powers, from 0.93 to 5.80 kW in cooling and from 1.05 to 12 kW in heating for FCY and from 0.80 to 4.70 kW in cooling and from 0.9 to 10.15 kW in heating for FCYI.
