CASAFLEX® pipes from BRUGG Pipe Systems for the new district heating system in Chiusdino
In the Tuscan village of Chiusdino (SI), nestled among the metalliferous hills, a new district heating system has been built that uses heat from underground to power residential users.
For the creation of the network connections, the CASAFLEX® system from BRUGG Pipe Systems was chosen, a flexible, high-performance solution designed to optimise installation times, efficiency and system lifespan.
Thanks to their structure with corrugated stainless steel pipe, PIR foam insulation and anti-corrosion coating, CASAFLEX® pipes guarantee low heat loss, mechanical self-compensation and quick installation even in small spaces.
The project, which involved the use of DN 25, DN 32, and DN 40 pipes, was supported by the BRUGG technical team, which assisted the installers during the assembly phase to ensure the project was executed correctly.
With this supply, BRUGG Pipe Systems confirms its leading role in the sector of pre-insulated pipes for the transport of thermal energy, offering technological solutions capable of combining efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
