MCE 2026: BRUGG Pipe Systems will be present at Hall 3, Stand R20 with its entire range of pipes.

BRUGG Pipe Systems Srl, the Italian branch of the Swiss multinational BRUGG Rohr Holding AG, confirms and renews its presence at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2026 .
Founded in 1991 in Piacenza, BRUGG Pipe Systems Srl sells fluid transport pipes throughout Italy, offering a complete range of single-wall, double-wall, and thermally insulated, rigid, and flexible piping systems.

The production of pipes falls into two main macro sectors:

  • Heating sector
  • Industry sector

Heating Sector

FLEXSTAR is the pre-insulated, flexible, and stable pipe ideal for the heating sector. Its efficient heating output makes it particularly suitable for use in conjunction with small and medium-sized heat pump networks, in small short-distance district heating networks, for connecting homes, and for system upgrades of heat-conducting pipes. The pipe is a low-temperature system composed of a cross-linked polyethylene (PEXa) service pipe with an organic oxygen diffusion barrier (EVOH).

Breaking all records. BRUGG Pipe Systems has further lowered the lambda value of CALPEX® pipes. Using the new PUR-KING (PK) process technology, the company has further reduced the thermal conductivity of the flexible pipes to a lambda value of λ 0.0199 W/mK (measured at 50°C). This coefficient, the lowest ever achieved worldwide, significantly exceeds the lower limit of thermal conductivity previously considered possible for polyurethane pipes. The entire range of solutions (from DN 20 to DN 125) is available with the record lambda value. CALPEX® PK is the medium- to low-temperature solution suitable for the supply of industrial water and heat. The system reliably and quickly connects integrated heating services, bypassing existing underground structures (e.g., gas, water, electricity, and wastewater).

CASAFLEX® is the pre-insulated, flexible, self-compensating, and monitorable pipe made by BRUGG for connecting utilities to the main district heating network or for the construction of small and medium-sized networks. It can also be used in industry, agriculture, drinking water supply, swimming pools, and garden solar thermal systems. The helically corrugated structure of the service pipe, made of NiCr stainless steel (AISI 304 L or 316 L), triggers turbulent flow of the fluid, ensuring the elimination of air bubbles. The flexibility of the pipe allows for optimal installation, even in non-linear excavations and housings. CASAFLEX® withstands nominal pressures up to 25 bar. Furthermore, through the three monitoring wires inserted longitudinally along the service pipe, it can be connected to most common leak detection systems.

COOLFLEX® and COOLMANT® flexible piping systems represent the ideal solution for district cooling systems, for the industrial and water supply sectors. These innovative systems are the result of decades of experience in the design and construction of pre-insulated pipes. The certified high-density polyethylene (HDPE) inner pipe, the high insulating properties (thanks to a minimal thermal conductivity index), and the high thermal efficiency provided by the compactness of the polyurethane foam insulating cells are the key features that make COOLFLEX® and COOLMANT® the leading pipes in the district cooling sector. Furthermore, the outer jacket offers adequate protection to the pipe against mechanical damage. Both solutions can be installed even at outside temperatures close to 0°C.

EIGERFLEX® is a flexible, pre-insulated pipe designed for conveying cold water (potable and otherwise) in extreme conditions, for air conditioning, and for industrial and civil wastewater. The heating cable. High levels of protection against freezing of the transported liquid, even with shallow trenches, are achieved thanks to the self-regulating heating cable. Powered directly or via a thermostat, it maintains the pipe at a temperature that prevents freezing. The internal service pipe is made of PE-HD (PE100), in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12162-62; while the continuously extruded PE-LLD outer jacket, seamlessly bonded, is resistant to UV rays. This feature makes it installable even without underground installation. The insulation is made of a flexible polyurethane foam, CFC-free, 100% expanded with CO2, characterised by a thermal transmittance value of 0.0234 W/mK, more than 25% better than that of PE.

Industry Sector

Among the solutions suitable for heating fermenters used in biogas production, the company offers BIOFLEX® , a flexible, corrugated pipe with a helical profile, made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel and cut to size according to the customer's needs. Continuous production allows the company to supply pipe in lengths of hundreds of meters, in a single piece. Reliability over time and in extreme conditions is ensured by cutting-edge production technologies. The "GRAPA" fitting, equipped with a special graphite gasket, is installed without welding, facilitating rapid installation and assembly. The helical corrugated structure is ideal for creating turbulence within the pipe, which allows the water to maintain continuous movement around the pipe walls, while also ensuring high heat exchange without the formation of internal scale.

For the safe transport of flammable or hazardous fluids, the company offers FLEXWELL® FSR piping. Its main applications are the chemical, petrochemical, automotive, and oil and gas industries. This solution can be used as a service pipe in both suction, positive pressure, and filling systems. The double-wall system comprises a corrugated stainless steel inner service pipe, a braided metal tape that serves both as a reinforcement and spacer, and a corrugated stainless steel outer containment pipe. The continuously extruded PE-LD liner around the outer pipe provides corrosion protection. The annular gap between the inner and outer pipes can be continuously monitored with special control units operating at positive or negative pressure. Leak detectors are also available for various applications and legal requirements.

SECON®-X is a double-walled flexible pipeline designed for the transport of fuels and flammable substances requiring monitoring. Waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and quick and easy to install, the coaxial pipeline is specifically designed for the underground transport of fuels. SECON®-X is a flexible pipeline consisting of a continuously monitored stainless steel service pipe. The system comprises a spirally corrugated stainless steel service pipe and an external polyethylene containment jacket. The cavity is formed by the geometry of the corrugated service pipe and the internally shaped external jacket with longitudinal grooves, which allow the pipeline to be monitored in the event of perforations. In addition to the stainless steel service pipe (AISI 316 L), a second corrosion protection is provided by the external jacket made of internally shaped polyethylene (PE – LD), tested for stray currents, which allows the pipeline to be installed without the aid of cathodic protection. The pipe is able to withstand new generation fuels.
