Air quality and living comfort: Wavin VMC for a new residential villa in Puglia
Wavin Italia contributed to the creation of the Controlled Mechanical Ventilation system inside a newly built villa in Castellana Grotte (BA), through the supply of its solutions dedicated to residential indoor climate.
The project involved the installation of three VMC units from the Wavin Indoor Climate range : Ventiza HP 2028, Ventiza COMPACT 1014L, and REK450 L, selected to meet the home's various distribution and functional needs. The system's configuration allows for continuous and controlled air exchange , contributing to the reduction of indoor pollutants and the maintenance of optimal thermo-hygrometric comfort conditions.
In new buildings, characterized by increasingly high-performance envelopes and high airtightness, CMV plays a key role in ensuring healthy interior environments , preventing air stagnation, humidity buildup, and mold growth. The integration of heat recovery units also helps limit energy loss, improving the building's overall efficiency.
The system installation was entrusted to Lindo Minunni, owner of the eponymous individual company and partner of the WIN Project of Wavin Italia, who oversaw the installation and integration of the VMC solutions based on the architectural and system characteristics of the villa.
The project represents a concrete example of how Wavin indoor climate solutions can be applied in residential settings to combine living comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency, meeting the needs of contemporary construction and the expectations of those who use these spaces on a daily basis.
