Aertesi's Soffio HP: the high-head ductable unit for centralized systems
Soffio HP by Aertesi is the 150 Pa high-head ductable unit designed for centralized systems, medium-large environments and complex air distribution
In centralized air conditioning systems, especially when air is distributed through extensive or complex ducts, the choice of indoor unit directly impacts comfort, performance, and ease of operation. Aertesi's Soffio HP was created specifically to meet these needs: a high-static head ducted unit, designed to ensure uniform air distribution in medium-to-large spaces and in applications requiring high flow rates and continuous operation.
The Soffio HP series is suitable for small and medium-sized centralized air conditioning systems, where air is introduced into rooms through dedicated ducts. Thanks to fans sized to provide 150 Pa of pressure at nominal flow rate, the unit is suitable for installations where significant pressure drops must be overcome, maintaining effective air diffusion even in the presence of more complex ducted systems.
High performance for offices, shops, clinics and medium-large environments
Soffio HP is designed for professional applications where thermo-hygrometric comfort must be stable and well-distributed. The range covers cooling capacities from 4.0 to 69.0 kW, heating capacities from 5.0 to 74.0 kW , and air flow rates from 857 to 8,800 m³/h , features that make the product suitable for offices, shops, studios, clinics, and commercial or collective environments with more structured air treatment needs.
The availability of various sizes allows you to select the most suitable configuration based on the space's dimensions, duct length, and system performance requirements. The series is available in a standard single-panel, filter-free version with AC and EC motors. Double-panel configurations are also available upon request, along with a range of accessories to expand application possibilities.
Robust structure, silence and simplified maintenance
One of the key aspects of Soffio HP is its construction, designed to facilitate both installation and subsequent maintenance. The units are made with thick galvanized sheet metal panels , ranging from 1.00 to 1.50 mm, and 10 mm expanded cross-linked polyethylene insulation, a solution that contributes to noise reduction and overall build quality.
Accessibility has also been designed to facilitate the work of installers and maintenance personnel. The filter can be removed from the bottom or sides without tools, while the internal electrical and electronic components are easily accessible without having to disconnect the ducts. This reduces intervention times and simplifies routine tasks, a significant advantage especially in buildings where continuity of service is essential.
The exchangers are Cu/Al type with a diameter of 3/8", high-efficiency corrugated aluminum fins and easily accessible air vents. The ability to change the side of the hydraulic connections directly on site also increases installation flexibility, allowing the unit to be adapted to the actual conditions of the project.
Advanced control, BMS integration and EC motors for energy saving
Soffio HP is also designed to integrate with more advanced management systems. Advanced control allows for Master/Slave configurations of up to 24 units and offers the option of using wall-mounted or remote controls. With TOP3, SP3, and BMS-SP3 with Modbus protocol, it is also possible to supervise up to 250 units, without data loggers.
From an efficiency standpoint, the EC motor version allows for more precise modulation of the fan unit speed, adapting operation to the actual load required by the system. This limits energy waste and achieves a reduction in consumption of up to 35%, while maintaining comfort and operational reliability.
In a market where designers and installers are increasingly oriented towards flexible, efficient and easily maintainable solutions, Soffio HP represents a concrete answer for ducted air conditioning of medium-large environments: a high-head unit capable of combining power, control and ease of management in a single system.
