SH POD casing

SH Pod is an innovative soundproofing casing for outdoor units of small and medium-sized air conditioners and heat pumps , designed to effectively reduce the noise generated by operation without compromising performance.

Built using patented Slim Hurdle™ and Quiet Leaf™ technologies , the SH Pod delivers 5 to 16 dB(A) noise reduction with minimal pressure drops (less than 10 Pa), allowing the unit to maintain 100% energy and operational efficiency. The internal configuration is designed to separate inlet and outlet flows and prevent air recirculation.

Its compact and modular design allows for easy installation directly in the current location of the machinery, without the need for structural modifications or complex logistical interventions.

The structure is composed of:

• a load-bearing frame in galvanized steel which makes it independent from the machinery
• inspectable side panels , with quick-fixing system that facilitate access for maintenance
• a rugged, customizable enclosure to protect the unit from the elements, solar radiation, and effectively contain noise.
• soundproof grilles , with a reduced thickness of just 2 cm, specially developed to minimize pressure losses (less than 10 Pa) and maximize air flow efficiency.

The internal configuration of the shell also includes a system for separating the incoming and outgoing flows, which prevents recirculation (bypass) and allows the machine to maintain its energy and functional performance unchanged.

MODELS

Three models are available, to best adapt to all types of heat pumps and air conditioners

• SH Pod Standard, for machines equipped with a single fan
• SH Pod XL , for machines equipped with double fan
• SH Pod Smart, for cases where a more modest result and a smaller footprint are sufficient

The SH Pod sound-absorbing shells also enhance the aesthetic appearance by allowing the external units to be masked, with a paint finish available in any RAL or with textured coatings, perfect for the most demanding architectural insertions.
