Midea and Erion join forces for Green Week: circular economy and sustainability at the Bodio Center.

From September 29 to October 3, 2025, the Bodio Center in Milan hosted the first Green Week organized by Midea in collaboration with Erion WEEE and Erion Energy , an initiative dedicated to the collection of WEEE and portable batteries with the aim of promoting virtuous and sustainable behavior.

During the week, citizens and businesses were able to correctly dispose of their electronic waste, allowing the collection of 117 kg of small WEEE and 19 kg of used batteries, with an estimated saving of over 200 kg of CO₂eq and 1,200 kWh of energy.

The initiative was presented at an inaugural event attended by Alberto Di Luzio (General Manager of Midea Italia), Giorgio Arienti (General Manager of Erion WEEE), and Laura Castelli (General Manager of Erion Energy), who highlighted the central role of the circular economy in the ecological transition and the responsible management of technological waste.

For Midea, which also operates in the HVAC and air conditioning sector, Green Week represents a further step toward more sustainable production, considering the entire life cycle of its products—from design to disposal—as an integral part of its environmental commitment.

The collaboration between Midea and Erion thus confirms itself as a concrete example of synergy between industry and supply chain consortia to achieve the objectives of ecological transition and reduce the sector's environmental impact.
