Wagner & Co Solar Italy donates 150 solar thermal collectors to the people of L´Aquila

"Men pass,  ideas remain and continue  walking on other men legs:" Giovanni Falcone, who often used this saying, would be happy in knowing that Wagner & Co Solar Italy took him literally.

Wagner & Co Solar Italy, whose company´s flagship is solar, made passion for renewable energy a sustainable and helping philosophy.

In coordination with RESEDA (Cooperative nonprofit association operating since 1999 in the field of ecology, renewable energy, environmental protection and  disabled people integration) and CIRPS (Interuniversity Research Centre for Sustainable Development ) has taken several actions to support people in need.

Last, in chronological order, the donation of 150 solar thermal collectors for a surface of 300 square meters for the production of hot water for  200 families of the earthquake zone of L´Aquila. All these collectors will be, within a short time,  part of solar systems which,  in many of the realities taken into account, are the only energy source for a hot shower. Just to ensure that the operation went fine, serious work has been done for the award of materials, coordination and implementation of the project.

Last 23rd of May at Reiss Romoli Small Auditorium of the University of L´Aquila, the Mayor, Massimo Cialente, in addition to officially thank Wagner & Co Solar Italy, honored the winners of the " the sun after the storm ", to whom part of collectors where donated . Finally, the best ideas and projects that companies, organizations, communities and individuals proposed to restart the local economy were awarded.
