The RPLI series heat recovery units, designed for horizontal indoor installation, combine maximum indoor comfort with reliable energy savings.

The unit is equipped with an aluminum plate heat exchanger featuring counterflow streams, radial plug fan ventilators with EC inverter motors, and an external air bypass equipped with an internal damper that provides free-cooling and anti-freeze functions. It also includes synthetic filters—class M5 on the exhaust air intake and F7 on the external air intake—both in accordance with EN779.

The counterflow heat exchanger enables effective thermal exchange between the exhaust air stream and the fresh air, which is preheated or pre-cooled depending on the season, thereby saving the energy that would otherwise be lost with expelled stale air.

These compact Aermec heat recovery models can be integrated into both direct expansion and hydronic systems for use in winter and summer operation.
