Photovoltaic installations are going to grow to 64.7 GW in 2016, Mercom Capital Group Reports

Solar installations are growing in 2016, too: 64.7 GW installations are forecasted.
Mercom Capital Group, an international clean energy communications and consulting company, forecasts that photovoltaic installations are growing to 64.7 GW in 2016, up from 57.8 GW forecast for 2015.

The largest solar market in the world, in 2016, will be China, again, followed by the USA, that are going to overtake Japan.

These three countries will contribute for about 65% of solar installations, next year.

China will continue to be the largest market in the world, installing about 19.5 GW in 2016.

Mercom forecasts that USA is going to install 13 GW of solar in 2016. A big solar market increasing is expected for next year, especially thanks to the industry, that is going to carry out some projects, before the 30 percent investment tax credit drops to 10 percent.

What about Japan?
Mercom Report forecasts that 9 GW of solar will be installed in 2016.
The Japanese solar industry has experienced two feed-in tariff cuts in 2015, but Japan approved solar projects for about 80 GW with this program, of which about 25 percent has been installed.

In Europe, UK is expected to be the best country in 2016, in terms of photovoltaic installations, followed by Germany and France.

India is also forecasting to grow, about 3.6 GW in 2016.
