New regulation UNI EN 15420: Gas-fired central heating boilers

A new regulation will take up its part in the cultural experience of boilers producers and installers: in recent days it has been issued the new UNI EN 15420 regulation "Gas-fired central heating boilers -Type C boilers of nominal heat input exceeding 70 kW but not exceeding 1000 kW".

The rule applies only to heat generators of type C and defines the requirements and test methods relating to manufacture, safety and suitability for a rational use of energy, classification and CE marking of boilers.

The regulation is dedicated primarily to manufacturers but also, indirectly, to installers, given the great detail on these requirements in order to cover a very wide range of thermal power, there is only concern on our part on why the ruler did not start from 35kWof heat output as usual.
