From 4 to 6 March 2026, the Rimini exhibition centre will host a new edition of KEY – The Energy Transition Expo , the most important European event dedicated to technologies, services and solutions for the energy transition.

The 2026 edition features a completely revamped layout and a special focus on energy efficiency, which becomes the key theme of the event. An entire district will be dedicated to this area, thanks to the new Sustainable Building District created in collaboration with the Green Building Council Italia, to explore materials, technologies, and regulations supporting increasingly sustainable construction.

Alongside its focus on efficiency, KEY 2026 will offer seven integrated thematic areas: photovoltaics, wind power, storage systems, electric mobility, sustainable cities, and hydrogen, with the aim of providing a comprehensive overview of the future of energy.

There will be plenty of networking and business events, such as KEY CHOICE – Unlock the future of PPA, a B2B event scheduled for March 3 at the Palacongressi in Rimini, which will connect renewable energy producers and large users interested in Power Purchase Agreements. Innovation will also receive significant attention, with the Lorenzo Cagnoni Prize for startups, and initiatives for training and matching supply and demand for green skills.

With a strong international presence and the involvement of operators from Africa, the Balkans, and Türkiye, KEY 2026 confirms its position as the reference event for all professionals involved in the energy transition.
