Inspectable trap by Vecamco: no bad smells from the condensate discharge hose

Can be inspected and easily clean, installation possible both in vertical and horizontal.
Traps were conceived to eliminate bad smells produced in the condensate discharge hose, one of the major problems tied with recessed housings for air-conditioning units. Many traps are fitted and embedded into the wall without any possibility for the user to inspect them at a later stage.

This new trap by Vecamco, italian company specialized in HVAC components, on the contrary, was conceived and produced with the following, innovative features:
  • It can be inspected, because it is fi tted inside a special box which can be opened from the outside. Possible fitting mistakes, or else, possible obstructions caused by insects can now be detected and removed;
  • Smaller in size;
  • Two inlets and two outlets, both horizontal and vertical, which make it possible for the trap to be fi tted to the right or to the left, no matter what position is going to be chosen;
  • Its transparent colour makes it possible to visually verify that the installation is working all right and whether condensate water is normally produced.
Standard delivered with water-proof o-rings, one gasket to avoid water leakages and a Ø 20 – 26 – 32 mm connector to suit rigid hoses in different dimensions. Box with trap (accessories included).
