IDRA R3: greater efficiency in the water cycle

Today, this system takes a further step forward with the introduction of R3, a new add-on module that expands IDRA’s capabilities and reinforces its commitment to sustainability.

The R3 module is based on the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and translates them into a more conscious use of water, transforming it from a simple resource into a central element of an intelligent cycle. An evolution that does not alter IDRA’s identity, but makes it even more relevant in residential contexts focused on energy and water efficiency.

Water as a circular resource

Thanks to this new management method, IDRA is able to reuse the same water multiple times within a closed circuit, optimising heat exchange and reducing water withdrawal from the mains supply.

When conditions require it, the system replenishes the storage tank in a controlled manner, maintaining high operational performance.

The water used to operate IDRA can also be recovered and reused for other domestic purposes, such as flushing toilet cisterns, filling household appliances (washing machines, dishwashers, etc.) or as preheated water for the DHW system. In this way, the R3 approach extends the resource’s life cycle and brings the system closer to near-zero water consumption.
