Galletti Custom Experience: the new way to imagine spaces in co-design with customers
Wood 001 is the first of Galletti's Custom Experience projects created with the aim of perfectly integrating air conditioning into the identity of the space, according to the Client's vision. In fact, they are developed in co-design with the client to give life to innovative and futuristic solutions in which comfort, design and materials are harmoniously integrated with each other.
The first Custom Experience project, WOOD 001 is the concrete result of a philosophy that focuses on collaboration between producer and client, between technique and design culture. A way of working in which comfort does not adapt to spaces, but is shaped together with them, dialoguing with the aesthetic, material and functional needs of each context.
Specifically, Wood 001 was developed in co-design with the Client SDB , a creative agency from Bologna, in search of a solution that combined technical performance and quality aesthetics in a creative work space, with a style that evoked nature.
The need was to create an innovative environment, capable of transmitting identity, comfort and promoting concentration and creativity.
Materials research: wood in HVAC design
Galletti worked with SDB to create a space that reflected their needs, using components from one of their most iconic platforms (ART-U), creating a dialogue between materials and the personality of the space. Galletti also explored a new dimension for HVAC design: wood.
In particular, for this first Custom Experience project, Galletti's research into materials materialized in the choice of ALPI wood, a leading company in composite wood surfaces that comes from FSC® certified forests (FSC-C004666). A noble material, unprecedented in the air conditioning sector, which opens up new perspectives in the design and customization of sensorial, elegant and functional spaces.
This project demonstrates how comfort can be transformed into an immersive experience. A technical element thus becomes a furnishing accessory and an integral part of the spatial concept, enhancing professional and residential environments that focus on uniqueness and attention to detail.
Technical performance, aesthetics and customization
WOOD 001 is characterised by the use of components from Galletti's ART-U technological platform, capable of responding to both the stringent requirements in terms of energy efficiency and silence, as well as the most exclusive aesthetic needs of planners and interior designers.
The components of the ART-U platform guarantee:
- Highly silent , also ideal for operating environments and meeting rooms;
- Brushless motors with permanent magnets , for maximum energy efficiency;
- Optimized heat exchange thanks to advanced CFD simulations;
- Ultra-thin body , with a minimum depth of up to 10 cm , among the most compact in its category.
