From 3rd to 6th November Key Energy at Rimini Fiera

Monitoring consumption, energy diagnosis, provision of “green” sources: it’s the energy saving and efficiency year. The fourth edition of the KEY ENERGY international sustainable energy and mobility expo, which will be held from Wednesday 3rd to Saturday 6th November 2010 at Rimini Fiera, will therefore concentrate particularly on these issues. It will do so above all by enabling exhibiting firms to present not only products, but real solutions for improving energy efficiency, by means of training and informative courses.
KEY ENERGY will be held once again this year along with the ECOMONDO (14th International trade fair on material & energy recovery & sustainable development) and COOPERAMBIENTE (3rd edition of the trade fair for the cooperative supply of energy and environment services, in collaboration with LegaCoop), ensuring the sectors’ professionals an unbeatable showcase.
Rimini Fiera aims at improving last year’s figures for an exciting expo event that is constant evolving and in 2009 hosted 63,332 visitors, 5,066 of whom were from abroad.
Project manager Barbara Padovan explains, “The expo area of KEY ENERGY is in the east wing of the centre, in Halls B7, D7 and D3, and will feature the proposals of companies involved in the world of energy generation from renewable and alternative sources. Attention will also be focussed on products and technologies useful for saving energy and efficient use of energy, and on the use of alternative sources for mobility.”

THE INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY FORUM IS KEY ENERGY 2010’S GREAT OPENING EVENT

“Resources and choices: our common future”. This is the title of the first International Environment and Energy Forum which on Wednesday 3rd November will open the great high-profile event dedicated to the green economy at Rimini Fiera. The Forum, promoted by CONAI, Legagoop, Legambiente, Emilia-Romagna Regional Government and Rimini Fiera and designed by The European House – Ambrosetti, who will also handle its realization, will feature the participation of institutional representatives, economists, sociologists and world-famous experts who, organized in a morning session and three vertical afternoon sessions, will outline concrete sustainable development lines for the near future.
As well as this appointment, Key Energy has prepared a busy calendar of conferences, drawn up by the scientific committee chaired by engineer Gianni Silvestrini.

KEY WIND, PLAYERS IN THE WIND ENERGY INDUSTRY

KEY WIND, the new section of KEY ENERGY, is the result of a cooperation agreement with the ANEV National Wind Energy Association and intends strengthening an expo project dedicated to wind generated energy and a program of high profile conferences, with the realization of the first two Italian Masters for the sector: on November 3rd and 4th “Mini Wind Generation systems” and, on November 5th and 6th, “Green Certificates and Trading”.
Among the KEY WIND conferences, “Wind energy, a mature solution around 2020” will be held on Friday 5th November (Ravezzi Room 2 from 10 am), whereas “The EU and regions’ role: burden sharing” is also programmed for Friday 5th, from 2.30 pm in Ravezzi Room 1.
The initiative and the masters promoted by the ANEV and Key Energy are an integral part of the project “Chi semina VENTO raccoglie ENERGIA PULITA” (Those who sow WIND harvest CLEAN ENERGY), which also includes the GLOBAL WIND DAY, which ANEV organizes in collaboration with the EWEA (European Wind Energy Association) and GWEC (Global Wind Energy Association).
