From October 28 to 30, 2026, Bogotá will host ExpoSolar Colombia , an international event dedicated to solar energy technologies and the development of renewable energy sources in Latin America . The event will take place at the Gran Salón of the Corferias exhibition center , one of the region's main exhibition centers.

In recent years, Colombia has established itself as one of the most dynamic markets for solar energy. The country is accelerating its energy transition thanks to favorable natural conditions and national policies encouraging the development of renewables. In particular, the La Guajira region has some of the highest irradiation levels in the world, with values ​​exceeding 6 kWh/m² per day, creating ideal conditions for the expansion of photovoltaic energy.
