Energy efficiency in HVAC with Schneider Electric´s Xenta 711/731 Web Server and Controller

Energy Efficiency is gaining even more relevance in the control systems market, in particular within the HVAC systems sector, and in the lights or sunblinds control markets. The controllers Xenta 711/731 series can implement a way to control plants (due to the presence of a LonWorks standard bus and thanks to the opening offered) and, moreover, can also apply the sub-metering application (thanks to the Modbus connection). In particular, when is involved an existing system, the applications can be implemented at different times, allowing the customer to start a phase of preliminary analysis (in order to measure and understand their consumptions) and then optimize the systems, once identified the critical issues.

The Xenta 711/731 series controllers allows for a multifunctional system management, control and presentation features with a built-in Web Server, with access to measurement and control applications using a standard Web browser (eg Internet Explorer), anytime and from anywhere.
Thanks to sophisticated graphics included in the controllers, the custoemr can easily access to alarms (control and reset), read status and measures, see the trends of the controlled value, change setpoints and / or other operating conditions.
The controllers can autonomously sending e-mails in case of alarm, as well as sending the measurement data contained in files attached to e-mails themselves.
Each controller Xenta 711/731 can manage their own network of measurement and automation equipments, or be one of the local units that compose a larger network, up to be integrated into a complete and modern system of Building Automation.
