Eliwell at Refrigera 2025: new solutions for control and components in refrigeration

At Refrigera 2025, Eliwell showcased its latest refrigeration innovations: the EWNext 1000 controllers and new electromechanical components for high-efficiency systems.

With 45 years of experience in the HVAC/R sector, Eliwell confirmed its leadership in the world of refrigeration and automation by presenting, at Refrigera 2025 , a wide range of solutions for electronic control and electromechanical components.
The BolognaFiere event was an opportunity to showcase the technological evolution of the company, now part of the Schneider Electric group, and its integrated vision towards more efficient, digital and sustainable refrigeration.

EWNext 1000: The new standard for refrigerated cabinet controllers

Among the main innovations presented at the fair, the new EWNext 1000 controller series represented a turning point in the management of high-efficiency refrigerated cabinets.
An evolution of the Next platform launched in 2020, EWNext 1000 was developed to meet the needs of modern refrigeration equipment manufacturers, with functions that allow the management of modulating loads and the combined control of temperature and humidity .

Compatible with low-GWP refrigerants, including A2L, A3, and CO₂, the new controllers combine sustainability, efficiency, and digitalization . They offer extensive connectivity options via Bluetooth, Modbus RS485, Wi-Fi , and integration with the Eliwell AIR cloud, for advanced monitoring via Eliwell Refrigeration Expert or TelevisGo .

Designed with an intuitive large display interface and configurable touch keys , the EWNext 1000 controllers guarantee ease of installation even in retrofit applications, making them ideal for plug-in counters, refrigerated display cases, seasoning rooms and large-scale retail systems.

Electromechanical components: safety, precision, and regulatory compliance

To complete the proposal, Eliwell also presented the new range of electromechanical components , designed to ensure maximum reliability and compliance with international regulations , even in systems using natural refrigerants.

Among the solutions exhibited at Refrigera 2025, the following stand out:

  • PED certified NSD mini pressure switches, compatible with A2L and A3 refrigerants, designed for systems using flammable fluids.
  • D Controls adjustable pressure switches , with improved performance and easier to install thanks to the new electrical connection.
  • EWPA pressure transducers with Packard connector, which meet the standards required by system manufacturers.
  • PTC temperature probes with glass sensor and the EWHS284 humidity probe , ideal in combination with the EWNext 1000 controllers for integrated management of environmental parameters.

These solutions complete a coherent and synergistic ecosystem, in which controllers, sensors and components communicate to optimize the overall performance of the system and ensure precise and safe control of refrigeration processes.

Research, innovation and sustainability at the heart of Eliwell's strategy

Eliwell's successful participation in Refrigera 2025 confirmed its commitment to combining technological innovation and environmental sustainability.
The company continues to invest in research and development to anticipate market needs and support manufacturers and installers in the transition to smarter, more efficient systems that comply with European regulations on safety and natural refrigerants.
