Clivet obtains the PEP Ecopassport® Environmental Product Declaration for its EDGE PRO heat pump.
Clivet continues its path towards concrete and measurable sustainability by obtaining the PEP Ecopassport® Environmental Product Declaration for the EDGE PRO heat pump with natural refrigerant R290 .
The Environmental Product Declaration ( EPD ), issued according to internationally recognized standards, is based on a life cycle analysis (LCA – Life Cycle Assessment) and provides objective and verified data on the environmental impact of the product during all phases of its use, from production to disposal.
Certified sustainability
The PEP Ecopassport® certification represents an important indicator of environmental transparency for HVAC products, as it allows for reliably comparing environmental performance and helps designers, operators and customers choose more environmentally responsible solutions.
The inclusion of the EDGE PRO heat pump with R290 in the family of Clivet products equipped with Environmental Product Declarations strengthens the company's commitment to offering technologies with low climate impact, high energy performance and greater efficiency in the use of renewable sources.
The role of DAP in sustainable design
The PEP Ecopassport® helps designers and stakeholders understand the environmental footprint of HVAC products analyzed according to LCA criteria, providing useful information for data-based comparisons, not just declarations. This type of tool is increasingly becoming a benchmark in the design of sustainable buildings and systems and in the transparent communication of environmental performance.
With the extension of the PEP Ecopassport® certification to the EDGE PRO heat pump, Clivet confirms its strategy aimed at product sustainability and reducing environmental impacts, aligning itself with the most advanced market needs and the expectations of customers who are increasingly attentive to the ecological quality of technical solutions.
