Over more than 35 years of designing, manufacturing, and distributing high-efficiency, low environmental impact air conditioning and air treatment systems, Clivet has developed its own approach to sustainable comfort and the well-being of both individuals and the environment.

Founded in Feltre, Belluno (Italy) in 1989, the company began by producing chillers and heat pumps, and over the years expanded by developing innovative specialized systems based on rooftop units, water ring systems, and solutions dedicated to the residential market. In 2016, thanks to an industrial alliance with the MIDEA Group, Clivet completed its portfolio by integrating VRF, MONO/MULTISplit products, and Midea technologies.

Research and Development

The research and development of year-round air conditioning solutions using innovative technologies have been part of Clivet’s DNA since its inception, enabling the company to always be prepared for the future. Eight test rooms for residential units and six for medium-to-large units allow for functional, performance, acoustic, vibration, and stress testing under real-world conditions. At the Clivet Innovation Centre, units using new refrigerants with capacities up to 2 MW can be tested at air temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C. Customers even have the opportunity to observe these tests.
