Description
Foridra IDRATERM cleaning products act on iron oxides and sludge, with a simple circulation of water – it doesn’t even need to be continuous. Deposits are dispersed and particles are kept in suspension and eventually easily eliminated as the water is drained and rinsed from the system. The effectiveness of idra term products depends on how long the product circulates inside the system and the concentration of the product used. Circulation times inside the system should not exceed 30 days. Lower concentrations than that recommended do not yield satisfactory results.
IDRATERM 400 is a specific formulation for cleaning new heating and/or conditioning systems (as prescribed by standard UNI 8065). It removes metal oxides found in radiators and pipes and keeps them suspended in the water so that they can be removed by draining and rinsing. The product does not modify pH, does not contain E.D.T.A. nor does it have any corrosive effect on metals or plastics. It does not contain any toxic nor harmful substance.
Usage: Add 1 kilo of IDRATERM 400 for every 100 litres of water in the circuit. It must circulate inside the system for at least two hours if using an external pump (like IDRAFLOW) or two days if using the boiler’s pump with the system operating (hot water). Within a month however, the system should be well drained and rinsed. Rinsing should continue until clear water runs out. The system should then be refilled with water treated with IDRATERM P100 to protect it against corrosion and to reduce energy consumption.
Package: 1 kilo bottles, 5 and 27 kilos cans.
IDRATERM 240 is a specific formulation that removes sludge and metal oxides from old systems, which generally have slower circulation and/or a reduced heat exchange.
Usage: Add from 3 to 5 kilos of IDRATERM 240 for every 100 litres of water in the circuit, depending on the quantity of dirt inside the system . The product does not substantially modify pH, does not contain E.D.T.A. nor does it have any corrosive effect on metals or plastics. It does not contain any toxic nor harmful substance. To check the right concentration: 3% of product increases* the water conductivity by about 1.500 micro/S cm while 5% of product increases the water conductivity by about 2.500 micro/S cm.
* compared to the conductivity of the inlet water.
Package: 5 and 27 kilos cans.
IDRATERM 280 is a specific formulation that removes iron scale even mixed with limestone in the boiler, sludge and metal oxides from old systems, which generally have slower circulation and/or a reduced heat exchange. The use is recommended to restore the correct heat exchange conditions in heating and/or conditioning systems. The product does not modify pH, does not contain E.D.T.A. nor does it have any corrosive effect on metals or plastics. It does not contain any toxic nor harmful substance.
Usage: Add from 5 to 10 kilos of IDRATERM 280 for every 100 litres of water in the circuit, depending on the quantity of dirt inside the system. It must circulate with the boiler pump inside the system with hot or cold water for at least three days. Within a month however, the system should be well drained and rinsed. Rinsing should continue until clear water runs out. The system should then be refilled with water treated with IDRATERM P100 to protect it against corrosion and to reduce energy consumption. To check the right concentration: 5% of product increases* the water conductivity by about 5.000 micro/S cm while 10% of product increases the water conductivity by about 8.000 micro/S cm.
* compared to the conductivity of the inlet water.
Package: 5 and 27 kilos cans.
