Oerre

Oerre
O.ERRE´s history began in the period after the 2nd World War as a small part of what is known as "The Italian Miracle".
My father, an employee, advancing to supervisor, and then to minority partner began a long sequence of bond purchasing to buy out the other partners, thereby becoming sole owner of the company Officine Romanò.
The first two letters O & R (written phonetically in Italian) resulted in our chosen trademark OERRE, which at that time was considered very modern.
As sales abroad increased it became evident that the pronunciation of these two letters in the various languages of northern Europe created a phonetic chaos. A solution was to create a pause between the two with a dot : O.ERRE. In fact nowadays, our trademark abroad has become "Oh Air"! We are very happy for this casual association that gives meaning to our mission of producing solutions for ventilation.
In synthesis:
O.ERRE, conceived in Milan the 28th January 1950, was transformed by founder Riccardo de Paoli in 1973 into a joint stock company with the goal of industrial development of ventilation for the home, professional and industrial use.
In 1992 the factory moved to Mezzago where the process of evolution of production systems began. Now after 15 years, O.ERRE is readying for a new challenge, the opening of a new plant in Trezzano Rosa, doubling the production surface to better satisfy customers and markets. The inauguration is scheduled for January 2008.
Innovation in technology and products together with typical Italian design are the major factors for our success in emergent and traditional markets. Now the major portion of O.ERRE production is exported world wide devoting its resources to quality R&D (Research and Development) for customer satisfaction.
The company is associated with ANIE and since 1995 is working with a UNI EN ISO 9001 Quality System certified by CSQ – IQNET, later implemented to Vision 2000.
The R&D control studies with check levels during all stages of development, guarantee quality products and customer satisfaction, thereby offering important growth possibilities to sales partners and distributors world wide.
Corresponding norms and regulations are guaranteed in function of different model characteristics, by IMQ, by KeyMark, by UL, by other important institutions or by the CE conformity declaration. The approval CESI (Italian Sperimental Electrotechnical Centre) is used for the industrial ATEX range.
The continuous relationship with institutions specializing in safety certification resulted in the presentation to O.ERRE, in 1991, the IMQ badge of merit as user for over 25 years by The Italian Institute for Quality. In conjunction with our relocation we have also updated our web site. Now it is better conceived to meet the needs of customers with more search capabilities and interaction services. The Internet project, started in 1995, offers us today a more constructive and productive way of working together.
Thank you for your kind attention.
