From 7 to 8 September 2026, Abu Dhabi will host ATMOsphere Middle East 2026 , the inaugural edition of the event dedicated to sustainable cooling technologies in the Middle East region.
Following more than 80 conferences held worldwide, this event brings an international forum to the region to discuss key trends, regulatory challenges, and market opportunities in natural refrigerants and low-emission cooling solutions.
The conference is aimed at professionals, manufacturers, policymakers, researchers, and end users interested in the development and adoption of air conditioning and refrigeration systems that reduce environmental impact. The two-day program includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, updates on technology and market trends, regional and global policy analyses, in-depth analyses of regulations and standards, and case studies on applications in high-temperature regions.
One of the main objectives of the event is to facilitate dialogue between industry, regulators, and users to promote efficient and sustainable solutions that address the specific challenges of energy- and cooling-intensive regions such as the Middle East.
Topics covered
The conference focuses on:
- market trends and technological developments in the HVAC&R sector,
- global regulatory policies and standards,
- role of natural refrigerants (such as CO₂, ammonia and hydrocarbons),
- operational challenges in high-temperature climates,
- research on PFAS,
- other critical aspects for the adoption of low environmental impact technologies, industrial and commercial application cases.
