For the last two years investments have been made more on renewable energy than in fossil fuels. In 2009 in Europe and in the USA in the electricity sector there was no longer installed by renewable sources from all others. Italy is preparing to meet with renewable energy less than a third of the electricity demand in 2020 according to the National Plan of Action submitted by the Government of renewables in June 2010.

Lately they have been published several authoritative reports that are aimed at checking the possibility of being able to meet with green energy 100% of all electricity demand in Europe by mid-century.

What are the chances of Italy?Starting from the publication of these reports, the conference aims to take stock of the same possibility of our country through the analysis of various scenarios of electricity generation from renewable sources, evaluating the financial aspects and the possible role of government premises.
