World Refrigeration Day is an international event celebrated on 26 June each year, created to raise awareness of the importance of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps. The aim of the event is to highlight the essential role these technologies play in everyday life, from food preservation to health protection through temperature control.

The theme for 2024 will be ‘Temperature Matters’, aimed at highlighting how temperature control affects not only personal comfort, but also vital processes such as food and drug preservation. The event also aims to promote career opportunities in the industry and educate the public on the importance of sustainable cooling technologies
