Victor Vetterlein and the prefabricated anti-emissions office

Victor Vetterlein, New York architect, designed a prefabricate, eco-friendly office. It can be put in employee's courtyards so than they can work from home.
The fight against CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and the technology applied to renewable energy are two of the reasons that incited the New York architect Victor Vetterlein Moss to design prefabricated houses / offices realized with eco-friendly materials and powered by clean energy.

The architectural solution designed by Vetterlein was created to promote the prefabricated office for all companies that provide for the use of employees "at home", providing an independent and comfortable solution, transportable simply on a truck and, on request, it can be extended adding a small kitchen, a bathroom and a tank for waste water.
Companies can rent or buy these prefabricated offices, octagonal of 4 meters, which are suitable for installations in courtyards, boulevards or roofs. They are related to the main workplace so these units can increase productivity and at the same time reduce emissions into the atmosphere thanks to the decrease of road vehicles.

The environmental impact of the this prefabricated is minimal: on the outside the structural frame is made with laminate wood and steel plates and inside it is made with insulated panels (SIPs).
The covering is made of aluminum composite panels (ACP) and guarantee energy efficiency thanks to the high level of insulation.

The roof is covered with solar panels that produce power and energy to the structure and create shadows that are useful in summer, thanks to the bracket assembly that holds them lightly raised: it is also possible to apply a wind turbine on the top of the structure.
The heater has a radiant floor heating and a wood burning stove.
The ventilation happens thanks to the skylight, which also reduces the use of artificial illumination during the working hours.
