The series of ventilating units is composed by models with directly-coupled fans (FBX-D) and of models with transmission (FBX-T)
Description
The FBX series ventilating units by SIC Srl are ventilating chambers, to use in small and medium ventilation systems, with suitable soundproofing.
The series is composed by models with directly-coupled fans (FBX-D) and models with transmission (FBX-T). The range covers a field of flow-rates from 800 to 16,000 m3/h with static pressure of up to 700 Pa thanks to the different combinations of fans, the motor polarity and power supply. Dual-intake fans are used, with statically- and dynamically-balanced impellers to minimise vibrations and noise.
The use of very long ducting is allowed by the high working static pressure values.

Technical features
• The structure is made of galvanised or AISI 304 2B stainless steel plate.
• Sound insulation is ensured by a suitably-thick layer of polyester installed in the unit.
• Dual-intake centrifugal fans are used, with statically- and dynamically- balanced impellers.
• To attenuate the transmission of any vibration, vibration-damping mounts are installed between the structure and the fan.
• The FBX-D models feature centrifugal fans with directly-coupled motor.
• The FBX-T models feature three-phase, single- or two-speed fans; in these models the fan is driven by the motor via a system of pulleys and belts.
• For the FBX-T models the belt can be tightened using the motor slide.
• The operating temperature must be between –20°C and +40°C.

FBX-T 5 models 1.500 ÷ 16.000 m3/h
