Toshiba presents new floor inverter console: elegant design bi-flow system and evolved heat
Toshiba presents the new floor inverter console unit. The small size, the "Bi-Flow" air’s distribution and the function of advanced heating make this product the best choice for every installation. The new line, with a clean and elegant design, meets the demands of the market to harmoniously integrate the air conditioning unit in the house, a trend that has strengthened considerably in recent years. This requirement, typically related to facilities in residential areas, is becoming an important parameter also for commercial applications.
The new console, a flexible response to high-tech innovative solutions in the residential sector, is available in three sizes, precisely with 10, 13 and 18 kBtu, both in mono-split and multisplit applications.
Like all Toshiba products, aesthetics accompanies the latest technology that provides record efficiencies: in mono-split applications the double-A class is largely achieved by the systems with 10 and 13 kBtu, obtaining a COP of 4.27 for the 10 kBtu unit. The outdoor units are equipped with dual-stage rotary compressors which, thanks to DC hydride Inverter Toshiba technology, are able to adapt to the demands on time with good performance at partial loads.
The small sizes of the new product allow flexible installation: 600 mm high, 700 mm wide and 22 mm deep for all sizes, with a weight of only 14 kg.
The new units are equipped with infrared remote control and a dynamic control interface on the machine for easy and quick adjustment of the main functions such as on-off, temperature selection, methods of operation and the selection of the flow air.
The control lights on the onboard machine correspond to selected functions. The two types of command are used simultaneously, to the benefit of the user.
The main feature of these new units is the optimization of air distribution in both cooling and heating thanks to the Bi-Flow function, which allows to direct the flow of air from above or simultaneously from above and from below .
In heating mode, the new console is equipped with an additional feature called "evolved heat”, an exclusive of Toshiba. This function, selectable with the remote control, allows to direct the flow of hot air from below only, at floor level with a reduced air flow to simulate the heat released from a chimney, creating a feeling of well being without equal.
Finally, the comfort of the air-conditioned environment is guaranteed by the unit’s capacity to purify the air; the console units are equipped with a new filtration system called "Pure Flow" with anti-virus, anti-bacterial, deodorizing and anti-mold functions.
The automatic cleaning system prevents the creation of mold when the air conditioner is turned off thanks to the ventilation with ultra low air flow, for a fixed period necessary to ensure the drying of the internal exchanger.
