A thermodynamic solar panel combined to a heat pump allows high levels of energy saving.

Description


The heat pump system HelioCOMPACT by SIC Srl produces sanitary hot water (60°C) using, a part from the heat pump, a last generation thermodynamic solar panel to obtain high and constant performances.

The process uses largely the sun exposure energy and environment thermal energy.
The COP medium performance coefficient can arrive to 5.0 with an 80% of energy saving, higher than an electric boiler or a hot water heater.
The HelioCompact system proves to be easy to install, working safely, silently, reliably and it needs a reduced maintenance.

HelioCOMPACT WORKING PRINCIPLE

Heat pump
. The refrigerating fluid changes its state in the evaporator taking heat from the low temperature source (the external air)
. The compressor, that is the heart of the system, makes the energy level of the taken heat higher. In fact, the refrigerating fluid reaches temperatures near to 90°C by increasing its pressure
. In the condenser it is possible to give thermal energy to the domestic hot water, warming it until 60°C. Thanks to insulating shell in polyurethane 50mm thick, the storage tank allows storing up and keeping for a long time the heat.
. The fluid returns to low pressure, cools down and it is available to “load” other “ecological” heat again from external air, crossing in the expansion element.

The thermodynamic solar panel uses all the possible heat capitation mechanisms:
. solar radiation, direct or diffuse
. natural convection, from air and wind
. conduction, from air, rain and snow

AVAILABLE MODELS FOR THE HelioCOMPACT SYSTEM

Three configurations are possible:

- HC-PEL Model – standard with heat pump and electric resistance as sources of heating
- HC-PWW Model - with auxiliary coil for utilization in combination with boiler or solar panels
- HC-PEP Model - with double auxiliary coil to use three energetic sources at the same time
