THE INTERNATIONAL ENERGY FORUM (FEI) PRESENTED IN BARLETTA: THE APPOINTMENT IS FOR 16TH AND 17TH OF JUNE IN THE SWABIAN CASTLE OF THE CITY

The 4th of June was held in the Red Room of Barletta Castle the press conference about the presentation of the International Energy Forum, with the presence of Giulio Gravaghi, President of the Organizing Committee and President of Anisgea, Giuseppe Bolla, nuclear expert and member of the Scientific Committee, Dario Damiani, councillor province BAT, mayor of Barletta Nicola Maffei and Giovanni Damato, CEO of Effepi Solar.

Giulio Gravaghi illustrated the features of the Forum, specifying the non-involvement of it to energy and local environmental controversial, announcing that “ the main theme of the edition of this year will be the great infrastructure projects which will involve Italy and the Mediterranean. The highlight of the Forum will be the presentation of a research about the state of art of these infrastructures in the Mediterranean basin, specially commissioned for FEI 2010 and realized by Nomisma Energia”.

Among the top reviewers are expected the undersecretary Saglia, Honourable Federico Testa and Alessandro Ortis, chairman of  the Authority for Electricity and Gas.

Mayor Maffei expressed his satisfaction on the choice of the city of Barletta as scenery of the Forum, underlining that “ the energy problem needs extreme clarity: in fact this is a very complex issue which is often subject of contributions from different and often conflicting voices ”adding how “ the hospitality given to the Forum is not part of pre-established project to promote anything: it’s only motivated by the desire  to contribute to a moment of information independent from other contingencies. It will be a scientific meeting”.

The assessor Damiani, said he was pleased with the choice of this territory of Puglia, a land being hospitable, open and attentive to debate.

Giuseppe Bolla, one of the three coordinators of the Forum, has illustrated the nuclear session: “ the session will cover all the theme of electric energy production from nuclear, from the research, to the construction, to the management of plants and to decommissioning”.

Giovanni Damato represented Effepi Solar, society of which he his CEO and which will see protagonist of FEI 2010’s technical visit its photovoltaic plant of Trinitapoli. The visit will take place 18th of June, following the two days of Forum.

So the appointment is for next 16th and 17th of June with the International Energy Forum, in the castle of Barletta.
