SCM Frigo and Fenagy: a year of evolution of the Smart Heat Pump

One year after its presentation at Chillventa 2024, SCM Frigo and Fenagy celebrate the anniversary of the Smart Heat Pump , the result of a collaboration started with the aim of offering more efficient and sustainable heating and cooling solutions.

The project led to the development of the TTC Smart Heat Pump, a technology that replaces outdated gas heating systems and chillers with a single unit capable of providing both heating and cooling, using CO₂ as a natural refrigerant. This approach ensures year-round efficiency and reduces environmental impact in line with the latest decarbonization strategies.

The solution is the result of intensive design , advanced simulation and field testing, with the aim of ensuring stable and reliable performance in various application contexts, both industrial and commercial.

The anniversary therefore marks not only a technical milestone, but also a concrete step towards more sustainable air conditioning and heating systems , supported by innovation and cooperation between companies in the sector.
