Radial and assial EC fans

Radial and assial EC fans are more and more widespread.
Their reliability, functioning litheness and simplicity is taking them to a raise in possible uses.
In particular one company, Ziehl-abegg, developed a series of axial  and radial EC fans from 190 to 250 mm.
The main characteristics are: compactness and high air capability in relation with their dimensions.
The axial version, in particular, presents a very particular blade profile. Moreover, its "owl wing" design allows less noise production.
These fans are very interesting for small dimensions for its head pressure and air capability.
