Quick & Easy - the PE-Xa pipe system for tap water and radiator connection

Our expertise in the field of PE-Xa is a result of decades of experience. We have been producing PE-Xa pipes for more than 35 years now. The system consists of in-house produced PE-Xa pipes and fittings that fit perfectly together. The system is complemented by the necessary accessories and a sophisticated tools program – everything out of one hand. Our simple but ingenious Quick & Easy connection system lets you produce pressure-sealed, durable joints. Our innovation makes use of the shrinking back effect, which only works for crosslinked PE-Xa pipes produced by Uponor.

Fittings

The outstanding material characteristics of Uponor PE-Xa pipes also have a major bearing on the connection techniques used. Our simple but ingenious system lets you produce pressure-sealed, durable joints in just 25 seconds. Our innovation makes use of the shrinking back effect, which works only with crosslinked PE-Xa pipes. This provides a long-term seal between the pipe and the fitting. Nowadays, we offer also PPSU fittings with male and female thread as well as PPSU manifolds with a male thread. The PPSU range is available up to dimension 63 mm.
For all of our Uponor Quick & Easy threaded metal fittings, as well as Uponor clamp fittings, special brass alloys are used.

Pipe
What is the difference between Uponor PE-Xa pipes and conventional PE-X pipes? It’s the memory and shrink-back effect of the PE-Xa material. After bending or expanding, the pipe returns to its original location.
It is common knowledge that the cheapest solution does not always bring the most valuable results. For this reason, we have decided to draw more attention to life-cycle costs.
The advantages are various: Uponor PE-Xa pipes are not only state-of-the art technology, but they are also produced according to environmentally sound principles.

There are two main installation alternatives. Whether you use the well-known traditional tee installation or the joint free pipe installation from the manifold, you can be sure that safety and reliability are always included.
