Photovoltaics: in Italy the fourth Energy Bill in tariff incentives

"From Ragusa we compete with China, with great quality"
Sicily, which invests in scientific research and technological innovation, can sometimes even compete with China. The Fourth Energy Bill gives a 10% reward on provided incentives to those who use solar panels certified "Made in EU" (that is to say entirely built in Europe with European components) to produce energy from the sun.
Cappello Alluminio from Ragusa, Sicily, which since 2009 has an entire production chain in the industry, is the first company in southern Italy, and among the first in Europe, to reach the important goal of "Made in Europe" label, having just been certified "Factory Inspection" issued by TÜV Intercert, certifying "Made in Europe" production for the entire series of Micron photovoltaic.
A result, says Giorgio Cappello, Cappello Alluminio Group General Manager, "made possible thanks to the work of young engineers and researchers we engage in Sicilian application projects to increase product quality and plants yield with a lower final cost, using European and not Asian components. "
"Italy - observes Cappello - is the second largest market, after Germany, in the world for photovoltaics, and it was inconceivable that almost 80% of the components would come from Asian countries. Creating a complete production chain in Sicily in this sector will increase jobs and will develop scientific research in this field. "
"We want to translate our enthusiasm - concludes Cappello - into a benefit for those who will appreciate and choose photovoltaic panels that come from the" Island of the Sun" and are designed to give the most, consistently over time". In addition, it will develope in our country a real photovoltaic integrated supply chain which, together with other renewable energy sources, will allow Italians to be self-sufficient from an energy point of view.
