MINUS 3% CITIES TAKE ACTION
The six municipalities of the Minus 3% project have established a baseline for their own energy use.
Each city has a target to reduce their energy consumption by 3% a year. Dublin has the most demanding target of all (9 668 MWh/year) while Malacky has a target of 343 MWh a year.
A baseline guide is available to cities who wish to establish their own baselines at www.minus3.org.
The ‘Minus 3%’ cities are in the process of developing an action plan which will incorporate a number of measures to meet their targets.
