Italy's energy transition continues with concrete signs of growth in the renewables sector . This is the message that emerged from the opening of KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026 , where Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin reiterated the strategic role of clean technologies in the country's energy future.

According to the minister, the market is showing positive momentum: " Let's move forward with renewables: there's initiative and demand ," a sign of an industrial system responding to the opportunities offered by the energy transition.
