The Gtreriv rivets with gasket for photovoltaics, are entirely made of a corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, making them also suitable for precision fastenings thanks to excellent grip on curved surfaces and high resistance to cuts and vibrations.
Description
In particular, this kind of structural rivet, features a neoprene gasket under the head which ensures impermeability and makes the rivet suitable for roofing fastening installations subject to weathering and therefore ideal for the installation of photovoltaic solar panels on corrugated sheets and sandwich panels.
The placement of this rivet is fast and easy, and from one side only: the mandrel, firmly locked, ensures a solid and resistant joint, as it breaks flush with the surface for all the specified grip ranges.
You can use the same rivet for joints with different thicknesses as the alignment of the hole is particularly facilitated and since the supporting surface of the deformed body is wide, the hole size should not necessarily be precise.
The Gtreriv rivets for photovoltaics are available for hole 5,5mm to grip thicknesses from a minimum of 0,5mm to a maximum of 4,8mm, and for hole 6,5mm for thicknesses from 1,6mm to 6,4mm.
Recommended tools for installing Gtrerivs are the hand RIV7, the hydropneumatic RIV503 and the battery powered RIV750 and RIV760.
