At the heart of GRID® is a thin amorphous metal alloy, less than 20 microns thick — thinner than a sheet of tissue paper — capable of directly converting electrical energy into heat .
Unlike traditional crystalline metals, such as copper or aluminum or carbon fiber, amorphous metal does not retain or disperse heat, but transfers it immediately to the flooring, ensuring uniform distribution and without thermal inertia .

The GRID® system is made up of fibreglass mesh mats containing the amorphous metal heating element, supplied to measure and ready for installation.
Installation is extremely simple: an electrician can install up to 50 m² of system in a single morning, without the need for screeds or invasive interventions.
The system connects directly to the electrical network and can be managed with standard room thermostats, allowing independent regulation of each room.
Direct contact with the flooring exceeds 25% of the walkable surface, compared to 9% for hydronic systems and 2.5% for heating cables.
