Fce - first italian forum on energy certification

The event set up through the cooperation between MCE – MOSTRA CONVEGNO EXPOCOMFORT, the world´s leading event in the HVAC sector, air conditioning and renewable energies and CTI – Comitato Termotecnico Italiano, is meant to investigate thoroughly technical and regulation aspects the state of the art of the building energy certification in Italy.

In Italy the energy certification sector appears to be discontinuous: some Regions recommend their own schemes, some others have adopted the National Guideline while others haven´t started to manage the question yet.

Notwithstanding, in Italy the energy certification is becoming a binding element in the home-building sector and a reference point for consumers and professional categories involved in the building and plant systems. At the same time we need to consider the various scenarios that will emerge as soon as the new 31/10 law will be introduced from 2020 for the realisation of nearly zero energy buildings. An important challenge that will require new regulations to face a further change in the construction and real estate market.

These are some of the topics developed at the Forum FCE 2011, the first "Italian Forum on Energy Performance Certification" promoted by CTI – Comitato Termitecnico Italiano and MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort that will be held in Milan from the 14th to the 15th June at the Centro Servizi, Banca Popolare di Milano in Via Massaua, 6.

A two days´ event of conferences and seminars on different topics dedicated to deepen all aspects concerning certification: from the application of energy certification national schemes to the development of the national and regional regulations and the requirements of the new EPBD Directive, from the development of technical regulation that determines energy performance of the building and plant system to end up with training, credits and controls.

The event has been conceived to create the first meeting point to bring together Italian Regions on the energy certification theme to promote a legislation framework as coherent as possible together with clearer and more useful results.

FCE 2011 is addressed to Public Administration and to all professional categories connected to efficient building and design, certification and energy management (designers, energy auditors, energy managers, Institutions, manufacturers).

Endorsement has been requested to "Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico", "Ministero per le Politiche Regionali" and "Coordinamento Energia della Conferenza delle Regioni"
