ExpoClima presents: the association of italian technicians of the cold
The Association of Italian technicians of the Cold ATF groups together more than 1000 companies of installation, maintenance and repair refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps.
The association represents in Italy about 9000 technicians of refrigeration and heating (as far as concerns heat pumps), companies with a total turnover of 950 million euro.
The Association is active in Europe with the European Commission, with the United Nations and with all major global industry associations like the International Institute of Refrigeration, the ASHRAE etc. with which it organizes an international conference every two years at the Politecnico di Milano.
During the past three years the Association has participated to the Leonardo da Vinci Energy Management Technician in the EU project along with seven other European countries for the creation of the energy technician’s figure. The end result of the project consists of a manual of thousands of pages used to train technicians for energy efficiency and renewable energy.
The atf Association through the Centro Studi Galileo provides training courses throughout Italy and the UK and India (through subsidiaries).
The CSG is active in education since 36 years and produces over 300 courses with 3000 participants per year in the areas of refrigeration, air conditioning and renewable energy.
