ELFOEnergy Ground Medium², the new modular geothermal heat pumps

Clivet presents the new range of liquid chillers and water cooled heat pumps, installed on the Nosedo scrubber: the ELFOEnergy Ground Medium². Thanks to their modular nature, it is possible to create high-powered plants, even in very small spaces.

ELFOEnergy Ground Medium² consists in a modular heating and cooling system within the heat pump, from 30 to 250 kW, for hot and cold generation, and the production of sanitary hot water with high efficiency, in multi-family and commercial buildings, having ground/well/river/sea or geothermal water as main source.

Thanks to its two modules of 900 and 1100 mm in length, for a total of 17 sizes, ELFOEnergy Ground Medium² fits for a variety of application needs with maximum flexibility, creating high-powered plants, even in very small spaces. Compared to traditional solutions, ELFOEnergy Ground Medium² main components provided on board also allow for a simplification of the system and a 70% reduction in the overall dimensions.

ELFOEnergy Ground Medium² is the ideal solution for reversible or irreversible two-pipe or four-pipe systems, combined with other terminal units, radiant panels, radiators and mixed systems, all provided with the possibility of active and priority handling of domestic hot water.

The combination of modular scroll technology with scalable units ensures maximum power modulation and great versatility in terms of service, guaranteeing high seasonal energy efficiency.

The modularity of the system favors plant decentralisation, so that the energy is produced only where and when needed, increasing the overall efficiency of the system and its reliability.
Another distinctive feature of these units is their lower R-410A refrigerant content, this way assuring sustainable and environmentally-friendly comfort.
