IDRA R3 evolves the concept of air conditioning without an external unit, integrating an intelligent system that reduces water consumption, prolongs its reuse and makes it available for other domestic uses.

Designed for buildings subject to environmental regulations and environments where the installation of external units is not permitted, IDRA R3 expands the application possibilities of the IDRA system and introduces a new system logic: water is no longer just a heat exchange fluid, but a resource to be valorized in a circular way.

IDRA: the technological basis from which the R3 evolution is born

IDRA is the invisible water-cooled condensing air conditioner designed to be installed entirely inside the home, for example under the sink, in a bathroom vanity, or in a utility room. This solution is designed to meet the needs of all those settings where installing external units is not possible or where the visual impact of the system is a design limitation.

Available in single, dual, trial, and quad-split versions, IDRA combines Full DC Inverter technology, quiet operation, A++ energy efficiency, and exceptionally discreet installation. With the R3 project, Tekno Point takes another step forward: the system no longer simply uses water as a heat exchange medium, but manages it in a more advanced, efficient, and responsible way.

With a concrete sustainability focus, IDRA R3 allows you to reduce water consumption without compromising comfort and system performance. From a hydraulic perspective, the module integrates a closed circuit with a storage tank, which acts as a thermal reserve and allows for more efficient water management than a traditional, simple-to-use and drain-out system.

The water used by IDRA is stored and reused until it reaches the optimal operating temperature, thus keeping the machine within its ideal performance range. Only when necessary does the circuit open to renew the water, then automatically return to a closed configuration and continue the usage cycle.

For the user, this evolution translates into concrete advantages:

  • a reserve of hot water available at no additional cost;

Working principle: closed loop and intelligent reuse

The IDRA R3 system is based on advanced water management, designed to maximize circuit dwell time and minimize water consumption. Its operation is guaranteed by three key elements:

  • a technical storage tank sized according to the available space;
  • electronic management of the recirculation cycle;
  • hydraulic integration with domestic uses.

The hot water produced by IDRA can therefore be reused in various areas of the home:

  • supply of toilet cisterns;
  • filling washing machine and dishwasher;
  • preheating of a DHW system;
  • garden irrigation or other technical uses.

This logic allows the circuit to be kept closed for longer, allowing IDRA to operate with almost zero water consumption for extended periods, improving the overall efficiency of the system and reducing the impact on water resources.
