Dehumidifiers for radiant systems series DH
These DH units have been designed for the dehumidification of the floor surface.
Description
Radiant air-conditioning systems allow not only the heating but also the cooling of rooms, with a single plant which is invisible, with high efficiency, comfortable and healthy.
The dehumidification of the air is an essential function of a radiant cooling system to avoid the humidity condensation on the floor surface.
The DH series dehumidifiers are expressly designed for this purpose: the refrigeration cycle, in fact, is combined with the use of the water which feeds the radiant system, with better performances than the traditional dehumidifiers and employing very low power.
The chilled water feeds two coils: the first one (pre-treatment) reduces the sensible load of the air before entering into the evaporator that, in this way, has only to make the dehumidification, for which it is necessary. The second coil (post-treatment) is located immediately after the condenser of the refrigeration circuit and it cools the air that is treated by the unit, up to a temperature that is equal to the inlet air (isothermal models) or up to inferior temperatures (cooling models).
The chilled water feeds separately the two coils for the “E” models, which can handle also external air.
The relative humidity of the air, in any case, is maintained within the optimal values (55-65%).
