CSI IN Auriga Compact / Compact+: the built-in electric solution that renews residential comfort

Fully electric built-in system that integrates Auriga Compact heat pump and DHW boiler, offering maximum efficiency, smart management and compact installation

In the high-efficiency residential market, Baxi introduces the CSI IN Auriga Compact/Compact+, a built-in system designed to offer high performance, minimal space, and intelligent energy management. The system combines the Auriga Compact monobloc inverter heat pump with a compact, all-electric internal body, designed to integrate seamlessly into the home's interior, ensuring aesthetic continuity and maximum operational efficiency.

Just 35 cm deep, the CSI IN Auriga Compact/Compact+ can be installed flush-mounted using a dedicated enclosure or in a technical cabinet, ideal for homes where wall interventions are not possible. In both configurations, the system ensures order, discretion, and maximum accessibility for maintenance and installers.

Two configurations, one efficiency logic

Two versions designed for different system requirements can be installed inside the same containment box.

Here is a clear and immediate comparison table:

Characteristic CSI IN Auriga Compact CSI IN Auriga Compact+
DHW boiler 150 L stainless steel with graphite insulation (-15% dispersion) 150 L stainless steel with graphite insulation (-15% dispersion)
Hydraulic module Module with 3-way valve Module with 17 L hydraulic separator
Circulation pump Standard PDC pump

Standard PDC pump

Booster pump for circuit downstream of the separator module

Manageable areas 1 zone Provision for second zone pump
Electrical integrations Provision for sanitary resistance (1.5 kW) Provision for sanitary resistance + heating resistance 2+2 kW
PDC combined Auriga Compact 6 / 8 / 10 kW Auriga Compact 6 / 8 / 10 kW
Ideal scenarios Standard systems, small spaces Multi-zone systems or systems with advanced hydraulic needs

This dual option allows installers to work both in homes with simple systems and in more complex contexts that require greater hydraulic stability and more detailed energy management.

Auriga Compact: the technological heart of the system

The Auriga Compact monoblock outdoor unit is designed to guarantee high performance and continuity of service even in the most challenging climatic conditions.

Among the main technical elements:

  1. Twin Rotary DC Inverter compressor with anti-vibration insulation to reduce noise and vibration.
  2. AISI 316 steel plate water-coolant exchanger with antifreeze heater.
  3. Air-coolant exchanger with finned aluminium coil with hydrophilic treatment.
  4. High efficiency brushless DC fan , installed on aerodynamic nozzles.
  5. R32 refrigerant and electronic expansion valve.

The machine operates in heating mode from -25°C to +35°C , producing water up to 65°C and reaches ErP efficiency classes up to A+++, making it eligible for tax deductions and Conto Termico.

Advanced electronic management: tailor-made comfort and maximum integration

The system is controlled by a control panel supplied as standard, which allows complete management of the system through:

  • 16 climate curves for heating and cooling
  • Complete management of ACS and recirculation
  • Eco, silent mode and holiday mode functions
  • Anti-legionella programs
  • Cascade management of up to 6 units

Smart Grid and photovoltaics: energy follows availability

The system can automatically modulate electricity consumption on three levels based on the availability of renewable energy:

  1. Maximum domestic hot water efficiency – DHW production up to 70°C.
  2. Standard operation – comfort without limitations.
  3. Advanced energy saving – selective load reduction and temporary suspension of non-essential functions.

An intelligent approach that enhances photovoltaic self-consumption and reduces energy costs.

The installation that follows the housing project

CSI IN Auriga Compact/Compact+ is designed to easily adapt to different living configurations. The system can be installed flush-mounted , thanks to the containment casing that allows for complete integration into the building's walls and offers the option of painting the front for perfect aesthetic continuity with the rooms.

When wall mounting isn't possible, the system is ideally housed in a technical cabinet, designed for installation in indoor or partially protected outdoor spaces. The cabinet provides protection, organization, and easy access to all components, simplifying assembly and maintenance.

In both solutions, the system maintains the same design philosophy: making installation simple, quick and functional, ensuring the installer has an orderly and easily manageable environment.

Built-in heat pump systems: Baxi's offering for compact, high-efficiency installations.

CSI IN Auriga Compact/Compact+ represents a complete solution for those seeking efficiency, aesthetic continuity and electrical integration in a single system.

Thanks to the Auriga Compact heat pump , intelligent energy management and dual internal configuration, the system adapts to the different system scenarios of modern residential buildings, supporting the transition towards more sustainable and fully electrified buildings.
