Bini Clima's FL and FU fan coils are designed to meet precisely this type of need, offering a compact yet complete solution, suitable for both new builds and redevelopment projects where every centimeter counts.

Dimensional differences and installation logic: low profile FL and ultra-low profile FU

The series is divided into two main configurations that share the same design basis, starting from the base of a standard 480mm high facoil, but are aimed at different application contexts.

• The FL is the low-profile fan coil , ideal when space is limited while maintaining good installation flexibility. Measuring 450mm in height in the version with a casing and 425mm in the built-in version , they can be installed under windows in historic buildings, special rooms, and anywhere else where standard fan coils are too bulky or architecturally inconvenient.
• The FU , the ultra-low version , is designed for even more space-critical situations. In fact, with a height of just 405mm in the cabinet version or 385mm in the built-in version, they can be positioned in environments where there is little space under the window, in structural niches, or where space requires it.

Both units are available with either an exposed or built-in casing, allowing the designer to choose whether to enhance the unit's aesthetics or integrate it completely into the environment.
The air intake is always frontal, without the need for support feet, to accommodate this type of mechanical installation. Both have the same depth as standard fan coils, to avoid additional space.

Bini Clima Drive Technology and acoustic design for continuously occupied environments

The FL and FU feature a double-inlet centrifugal fan unit , designed to ensure stable and silent operation even at low speeds. Biniclima Drive-based technology is also available for low-profile units. Both versions (exposed or built-in) utilize ComfortDrive , the version with the most suitable performance/noise ratio for typical installation areas. Special designs requiring PowerDrive (for ducting the built-in version) are entirely feasible; please contact the sales office.

The F series is always available in AC (230V three-speed) and EC (with 0-10V signal ventilation control) versions, and also applies to the FL and FU series.

The galvanized sheet metal structure, the internal insulation and the balancing of the moving parts help to reduce vibrations and noise , making these units suitable for contexts where acoustic comfort is a fundamental requirement.
Air distribution is uniform and controlled, with minimal impact on the perception of the unit within the room.
